Jakarta — Indonesia’s economy has continued to demonstrate resilience despite global uncertainty, recording growth of 5.12 percent in the second quarter of 2025. Household consumption remained the backbone of this performance, contributing more than half of GDP, while exports reached 24.75 billion US dollars in July, marking a 9.86 percent increase year-on-year. These achievements, coupled with a trade surplus of 4.18 billion US dollars, underscore the country’s ability to navigate turbulence in the global economy.

In recognition of the individuals and corporations driving this momentum, CNBC Indonesia is once again hosting its prestigious annual event, the CNBC Indonesia Awards 2025. With the theme “Turning Turbulence into Triumph: Resilience, Vision, and Growth in a Changing Global Landscape”, the awards aim to celebrate optimism and leadership during the administration of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

The awards will spotlight success stories from leaders and innovators across finance, capital markets, healthcare, technology, infrastructure, property, and mining. These sectors have been instrumental in sustaining growth and shaping Indonesia’s economic transformation. Ahead of the main ceremony, CNBC Indonesia is also organizing a series of discussions under the banner Road to CNBC Indonesia Awards 2025, bringing together industry players to share insights and strategies.

By honoring resilience and vision, the CNBC Indonesia Awards 2025 seeks not only to recognize excellence but also to inspire broader optimism among businesses and the public. In an era marked by climate challenges, global market volatility, and shifting trade dynamics, the awards reaffirm that Indonesia’s economic story is one of adaptability, innovation, and opportunity.
