Jakarta, July 19, 2025 – The 8.0 Award Trends Summit 2025 at the Grand Mercure Kemayoran Jakarta brought together business leaders, industry experts, and policymakers to celebrate outstanding achievements in leadership and corporate performance. Among the key honorees was Didiek Hendraleka, CEO and President Director of Kumis Group, who received both the Best in Company Award 2025 and the Excellent Entrepreneur Award 2025. The accolades were presented by GP Rajasa Pranadewa, Chairman of the organizing committee representing Award Magazine.

These dual honors signify more than individual success. They represent a growing recognition of Kumis Group’s influence in domestic and regional markets, as well as the company’s readiness to engage more actively on the global stage. The Best in Company Award acknowledges operational excellence and strategic growth, while the Excellent Entrepreneur Award highlights Didiek’s leadership vision and his role in steering the company through an evolving business landscape.

In his acceptance speech, Didiek credited his team and partners, stressing that leadership is about creating value beyond profit. “Recognition at this level reflects the collective commitment to quality, innovation, and responsibility,” he said. His remarks resonated with many attendees, underlining the importance of leadership that is adaptable yet principled.

While the awards drew the spotlight, the foundation behind them lies in Kumis Group’s strong business structure. The company oversees five business entities with combined assets of approximately IDR 650 billion or USD 42 million, active in construction, logistics, supply chain, and the trade of POME (Palm Oil Mill Effluent) and PAO (Palm Acid Oil). A significant part of its strategy includes operating a network of mini-plants in Sumatra and Kalimantan to ensure reliable commodity supply.

Kumis Group also holds a 40% stake as lead operator in a consortium with Terrafusion Energy Pte. Ltd., which has 20% as a supervisory partner. This collaboration is preparing for the development of HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) production facilities, aligning with global moves toward renewable energy.

The 8.0 Award Trends Summit 2025 served not only as a stage for recognition but also as a platform for building international connections. For Didiek Hendraleka, the evening’s honors underscore both personal achievement and the broader ambition of Kumis Group to position itself as a respected player in the global business arena.
